EgSA, SSA chiefs discuss co-operation in satellite technologies

Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) CEO Sharif Seqdy discussed with Saudi Space Agency (SSA) CEO Mohammed bin Saud al Tamimi ways of boosting mechanisms of co-operation in the satellite technologies including the domains of manufacturing, operation, imaging, and marketing. They agreed on giving a top priority to the remote sensing and imaging satellites throughout the current period. This came on the sidelines of the 'New Space Horizons - Africa and the Middle East' conference, which is currently taking place in New Alamein city as a part of the Egypt International Airshow 2024. The two sides discussed a cooperation agreement signed in December 2023 between the EgSA and SSA to promote space cooperation between the two countries and share know-how in this domain.
