Education minister, UNESCO regional office director discuss ways of boosting cooperation in educational projects

Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the efforts of UNESCO in supporting the development of education, pointing out to the ministry's collaboration with the organization on several educational projects. He said 'We believe that education is the future of Egypt, and that there are challenges that the Ministry is working to solve in order to reduce the density of students in classrooms and achieve maximum benefit from the school building, through a distinguished team work that is doing its utmost to develop plans to achieve this, in addition the ministry works to develop mechanisms to attract students to schools,' praising Egypt's teachers and their great experience in the field of education. Nuria Sanz, Director of the UNESCO Regional Office in Cairo, expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to collaborating with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education. She emphasized the organization's mission to support the educational process in Egypt, recognizing its crucial role in the region. Sanz highlighted the importance of this meeting for discussing future plans, proposals, and perspectives, aiming to establish a shared vision that can be effectively implemented to enhance the development of education in Egypt.
