Ankara: Military-technical delegations from eastern Libya recently visited Turkey, as announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense. The ministry revealed on Tuesday that three delegations had inspected command headquarters, units, and training institutions affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Turkish Armed Forces are actively continuing their training and advisory activities in Libya. The visits come after the official visit of Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, the Commander of the Libyan National Army’s Ground Forces, to Turkey on April 4, 2025. The delegations from eastern Libya visited Turkey between June 15 and 28.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense expressed that these visits are expected to further strengthen relations between the two sides. The ministry affirmed its commitment to continuing support for Libya and enhancing cooperation with all Libyan parties.
