Dutch Ambassador Commends Efforts of Libyan Missing Persons Authority

Tripoli: The Dutch Ambassador to Libya recently visited the headquarters of the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons to observe the ongoing efforts concerning missing persons and to explore avenues for joint collaboration.

According to Libyan News Agency, the head of the Authority, Kamal Al-Siwi, presented the Dutch Ambassador and his delegation with an overview of the major projects and future development plans that the Authority is actively pursuing. The Ambassador was particularly impressed by the progress made in addressing the cases of missing persons in Derna and Tarhuna.

During the visit, the Ambassador and his delegation toured the Authority’s various departments, where he commended the substantial advancements achieved thus far. In response, the head of the Authority expressed gratitude for the visit and highlighted the Authority’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Dutch side, aiming to bolster national efforts in tackling this pressing issue.
