Tripoli -The Deputy President of the Presidential Council “PC”, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met yesterday with the Norwegian Ambassador to Libya, Hilde Klemetsdal, to discuss the latest developments in the current political situation and the effectiveness of the results of the preparatory forum for national reconciliation.
Al-Lafi stressed that the Presidential Council is continued to stand at the same distance from all the political parties in the country, stressing the need to proceed with the path of reconciliation after the success of the preparatory forum, and this success facilitates to all the parties to go towards the inclusive conference that will be held soon.
For her part, the Ambassador Klemetsdal, commended the PC’s efforts in the national reconciliation file, and Norway provides support to the PC, praising the PC’s role in its continuous efforts to bring everyone’s views closer, and its important step that it took through the preparatory forum for national reconciliation, which is a fundamental pillar to reach the upcoming elections.
