Tripoli: A group of displaced Syrians were deported to their country via Mitiga International Airport. The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced this operation, which was carried out in coordination with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry explained that this deportation is part of its plan to address the issue of illegal immigration in an organized manner. The operation aims to ensure respect for applicable laws and to strengthen the state's efforts to manage immigration issues according to established standards.
