Director of General Protocol Department Hosts German Deputy Ambassador in Tripoli

Tripoli: The Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Hussein, received the German Deputy Ambassador to Libya, Daniel Johannes Schimsky, on Sunday. This marked Schimsky’s first official visit since he assumed his diplomatic duties.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, where Taher Hussein emphasized the department’s commitment to aiding diplomatic missions. He highlighted efforts to provide resources that contribute to the success of these missions.

In response, the German Deputy Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the ongoing cooperation and acknowledged the Protocol Department’s significant role in enhancing diplomatic relations.
