Tripoli, Deputy Prime Minister Ramadan Abu Janah met, Tuesday, with the Director of Sebha Security, Brigadier General Mohamed Ali Bashir. During the meeting, they discussed security situation in the city, and ways to develop security performance to maintain security and safety of citizens, and public and private properties.
Abu Janah stressed the importance of police and security institutions looking forward to their role in maintaining public security in all southern cities, especially security directorates, by supporting them with the necessary technical and logistical capabilities, and training their cadres to play their role in extending security and imposing state authority and prestige.
Abu Janah also called for more work and security coordination with the Ministry of Interior to impose security in the city of Sabha and all the cities of the south. For his part, the director of Sebha security reviewed the current security situation in the city of Sebha, and gave a detailed account of some of the problems and difficulties facing the work of the security directorates in the south. He also praised the interest of the Government of National Unity, in all cities and regions throughout the country, and its constant endeavor to develop the performance of all police and security institutions, in order to build a state of law and institutions.
