Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, discussed on Monday with the mayors of the municipalities of Khoms, Tarhuna, Msallata, Qasr Khiar, and Misrata several service and local issues, most notably improving infrastructure and developing road and transportation networks, as well as supporting the acceleration of the implementation of life-sustaining projects.
According to Libyan News Agency, during the meeting, Dbaiba emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between the government and municipalities to ensure the implementation of projects in accordance with local priorities. He emphasized the need to overcome the administrative and financial obstacles facing municipal councils in carrying out their duties.
The mayors gave a detailed presentation on the challenges facing their municipalities, calling for direct government support to accelerate the pace of work on stalled projects and improve the quality of services provided to citizens. They affirmed their support for the government’s efforts to establish security and stability.
