Dar Al Atta Association Marks Passing Out of 95 Health Assistants Within Tamkeen Programme

The Dar Al Atta’a charity association held a ceremony today to celebrate the passing out of 95 health assistants who completed training on dressing and dentistry.

The group forms part of the third batch of the association’s Tamkeen programme.

The ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

Siham Yousef Al Kharousi, Director of Empowerment at Dar Al Atta’a, said in a speech that Tamkeen programme constitutes a key pillar of the association’s drive to provide vocational opportunities to empower and qualify the youth to get jobs.

She added that 48 beneficiaries from this batch got jobs as health assistants in establishments of the public and private sectors, and some of them received jobs in other fields. She pointed out that empowerment in the association’s vision seeks to contribute to the improvement of livelihoods of families.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the minister felicitated the participants and presented them with certificates.
