Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba has sanctioned a Ramadan grant of 1,000 dinars for retirees with pensions not exceeding 1,500 dinars, as per Decree No. (49) of 2026.
According to Libyan News Agency, Article Two of the decree specifies that this financial grant will be sourced from the surplus of monthly social security contributions maintained by the Social Security Fund. The Ministry of Social Affairs has been tasked with overseeing the implementation of this decree and compiling a detailed report on the beneficiaries and the total amount disbursed.
Further stipulations in Article Three of the decree require the relevant authorities to begin implementation from the date of issuance.
