Tripoli – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, reiterated his confirmation that his government will continue to perform its duties normally until handing over to a government emanating from an elected legislative authority.

Dabaiba said – in a speech during the fifth regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity for 2022 – to discuss the problem of oil closures in the presence of the head of the General Intelligence Service, the Chief of General Staff and the head of the Petroleum Facilities Guard – that talking about handover and entry to the capital, Tripoli, is absurd. A waste of time and a sell-out.

He pointed out that the attempt to limit the problem to the possibility of storming the capital, Tripoli, and entering the headquarters of the government is nothing but twisting the truth that says that whoever was born with fraud and concoction will not be revived by attempts to infiltrate and break into.

In his speech, the Prime Minister said that what was produced in Tobruk under the name of a stillborn government because it was the product of fraud and the loss of legitimacy.

He pointed out that Libya today is between two currents, a current that wants elections and conduct them as soon as possible so that the wheel of construction and development returns in all aspects of the state, and a current that wants to procrastinate and extend until it continues in power and with which wars, divisions and conflicts continue.

In his speech, the Prime Minister addressed all the obstructions in this holy month, calling on them to abandon the animosity and conflicts that they want to rekindle. He also asked them to pay attention to the condition of this people who are fed up with the scourge of division and war.
