Dabaiba and Shakshak discuss the Electricity Company’s management plan and the difficulties it faces in performing its duties

Tripoli, August 23, 2022 (LANA) – The meeting held by the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba” with the head of the Audit Bureau, “Khaled Shakshak”, was devoted this evening, Tuesday, to addressing the management plan of the Electricity Company and the difficulties it faces in performing its tasks.

The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Tripoli, was attended by the head and members of the Board of Directors of the Electricity Company, the Director of the Sovereign Sector Department at the Audit Bureau, the advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning.

According to what was published by the media office of the Prime Minister, the attendees were briefed on a light show showing the current production and the short plan to increase it to reduce the loads, as well as how to deal with the suspended projects and to address the exceptional circumstances that prevented the start of work on them.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to present a detailed plan in weeks, including the necessary pilgrimages, and a technical meeting was held a week after this meeting.
