Tripoli: Chief of Staff General, Lieutenant General Mohammed Haddad, engaged in discussions with the British Ambassador to Libya, Dr. Martin Longden, and the British Defense Attaché, Colonel Matthew Ketterer, focusing on strengthening cooperation in military training and consulting between Libya and the UK.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting in Tripoli involved talks on potential joint military collaborations, support for the Libyan military institution, and collective efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime. Al-Haddad acknowledged the UK’s international role in backing Libya, highlighting the significance of the bilateral relations between the two nations.
Ambassador Longden reiterated the UK’s support for the initiatives led by the Chief of Staff aimed at advancing and unifying the military institution in Libya.
