Chadian President Meets GNU Delegation to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

N’Djamena: Chadian President Mohammed Idriss Deby received a high-level delegation from the Government of National Unity (GNU) in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena. The delegation was led by Minister of Transport Mohamed Shahboui and included Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Abdul-ssalam Zoubi.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on various issues of mutual interest, including cooperation in air transport and the initiation of direct flights between Chad and the GNU. Both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing trade and economic exchanges to benefit the interests of their peoples.

Additionally, discussions were held on developing mechanisms for military and security cooperation. The focus was on securing the common border, combating organized crime, and addressing irregular migration. These efforts aim to support regional stability and protect the national interests of both nations.
