Baghdad, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy urged all British citizens currently in Lebanon to leave the country over the weekend. The Minister said in a statement: "I am working with our consular teams to ensure that we are prepared for all scenarios, but if the conflict escalates, the government cannot guarantee the immediate evacuation of its citizens, and therefore they may have to shelter in place." Lammy warned that: "Tensions are high and the situation may deteriorate," and advised citizens not to travel to Lebanon. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
