London, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and his British Counterpart Boris Johnson have affirmed their support for a lasting ceasefire in Libya, for a democratic transition of power.
The Italian Aki news agency quoted a spokesman for Downing Street as saying ‘the British Prime Minister and his Italian Counterpart have discussed, on the sidelines of the G7 summit meeting on Friday, a number of issues of joint priority including a lasting ceasefire in Libya as well as a peaceful and democratic transition.
The Spokesman said Johnson was committed to working with Draghi at the G7 meeting and the G20 this year.
