Boulos and Abdel-Ati Discuss Efforts to Resolve the Libyan Crisis

Cairo: US Presidential Advisor for African Affairs, Masad Boulos, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty engaged in discussions concerning regional developments, with a significant focus on the crisis in Libya. The meeting addressed ways to cooperate on several priority issues pertinent to both parties.

According to Libyan News Agency, Boulos highlighted their discussions in a tweet on his official X account on Friday evening. He stated, “In my meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Abdel Aty, we focused on the efforts being made to resolve the crises in Sudan, Libya, and other regional conflicts. We emphasized the importance of our sustainable partnership on a set of shared priorities.”

The discussions are part of ongoing international and regional efforts aimed at supporting the political process in Libya. The goal is to achieve sustainable stability in the region, with efforts being led by the United Nations along with several international and regional parties.
