Tripoli: Fares Boukhbiza, Head of the Cases and Litigation Department at the Legal Affairs Department and representative of the House of Representatives to the Council of Legal Advisors of African Parliaments for the Northern Region, participated in the Council's meeting held in Accra, Ghana. Boukhbiza also serves as the Chairman of the Council's Planning Committee.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on several critical issues concerning the upcoming event. The primary discussions revolved around organizational aspects and the necessary technical and logistical arrangements required to ensure the readiness of the meeting venues and the reception of participating delegations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Boukhbiza, alongside the delegation from the Council of Legal Advisors and the Secretary-General of the Ghanaian Parliament, conducted a field visit to inspect the venues designated for the eighth meeting and the main symposium. The visit was comprehensive, covering meeting halls, facilities, technical and logistical equipment, and delegation accommodations, with an emphasis on evaluating the level of preparations and ensuring their readiness ahead of the events.

The Council of Legal Advisors of African Parliaments meeting is scheduled to continue for two days, forming part of the preparations for the eighth meeting and the main symposium, which are set to take place in Ghana next October.
