BOU HABIB PRESENTS PROTEST NOTE TO UK AMBASSADOR OVER CAMERON’S RECENT BEIRUT VISIT

Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Tuesday summoned the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hamish Cowell, whom he handed a memorandum of protest regarding the recent visit of UK Foreign Secretary, Lord David Cameron, to Beirut.

Minister Bou Habib also met with the Ambassador of Estonia to Lebanon, Ingrid Amer. The pair discussed mutual concerns, focusing particularly on electronic governance, an area of expertise for Estonia.
