The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants announced, in a statement on Thursday, that "following the cyber-attacks that targeted several Lebanese regions, wounding thousands and killing tens, including women, children, and civilians, and after consultations with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib left this morning to New York to partake in a UN Security Council urgent meeting that will be held Friday afternoon to discuss the situation in Lebanon."
