Bin Ghalbon Engages with Western Coastal Mayors to Tackle Governance Challenges

Tripoli: The Minister of Local Government, Mohamed Bin Ghalbon, met yesterday at the Ministry headquarters in Tripoli with several mayors from municipalities along the western coast to discuss the situation and needs of these municipalities. He reviewed the most significant challenges facing local governance, emphasizing the importance of continued direct coordination with the municipalities to address difficulties and improve the level of services provided to citizens. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed a number of priority service and administrative issues, as well as discussing proposals to overcome the challenges facing the municipalities, thereby contributing to improved performance and enhanced service delivery. The Minister affirmed the Ministry of Local Government's commitment to continuously monitoring the needs of the municipalities and working to find appropriate solutions to existing challenges, in cooperation and coordination with relevant authorities, to support the perform ance of local administrations and strengthen their ability to meet citizens' needs.
