Manama: Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director-General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), attended the graduation ceremony of the first and second cohorts of the Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) National Leadership Development Programme, organised by IPA as part of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa affirmed that the leadership programme for BAS employees aligns with the government’s strategy to develop national talent in the private sector, preparing Bahraini professionals to advance national development and economic goals. She highlighted its alignment with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Mohamed Khalil Ahmed, CEO of BAS, commended the graduates for their dedication to developing their skills and highlighted the programme as a vital initiative to p
repare competent national leaders. He noted that the partnership with IPA plays a key role in enhancing BAS’s organisational goals and contributing to Bahrain’s broader development objectives.
The programme was tailored for BAS employees, focusing on leadership development, project management, problem solving, and corporate culture. It aimed to enhance teamwork and coordination across departments, improving performance and achieving organisational goals.
