Tripoli: The Undersecretary of the Audit Bureau, Attiya Allah Al-Saiti, engaged in discussions with Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, the Charg© d’Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Libya, focusing on potential cooperation between the two entities.
According to Libyan News Agency, this meeting took place on Wednesday at the guest house in Tripoli and was attended by advisors to the Undersecretary. The discussions centered on collaboration between the Libyan Audit Bureau and the Federal Board of Financial Supervision in Iraq. Specifically, they explored the possibility of drafting a cooperation agreement aimed at exchanging expertise and knowledge while developing professional capacities on both sides.
The dialogue also included plans for organizing training programs dedicated to oversight in the oil and gas sectors. Emphasis was placed on enhancing integrity and transparency within these industries, which are considered vital due to their significant contribution to national income.
