Tripoli: The Audit Bureau engaged in a significant meeting with a delegation from the Turkish Court of Accounts to explore ways to enhance technical cooperation and exchange expertise. The meeting was led by the Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, and included Turkish experts specializing in information technology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions emphasized the importance of implementing the provisions of the agreement signed between the two entities. The focus was on strengthening technical cooperation and sharing expertise to develop digital infrastructure and improve the Bureau’s institutional performance.
Following the initial discussions, a subsequent meeting was convened between the Audit Bureau’s IT team and the Turkish experts. This session marked the formation of working groups dedicated to implementing technical programs, exchanging knowledge, evaluating the technical infrastructure, and analyzing existing technical gaps.
This initiative aligns with the Libyan Audit Bureau’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation and embrace international best practices in auditing, leveraging modern technologies, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
