Ubari: The asphalt paving works on the 350 km Ubari-Ghat road are ongoing as part of efforts to enhance road infrastructure in the southern region.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Projects Implementation and Transport Authority has indicated that the project is being executed by a coalition of Egyptian companies. The oversight is provided by the Main Roads Projects Department of the Projects Implementation and Transport Authority. The current phase of work includes the first sector, specifically site No. (1).
The primary objectives of the project are to improve road quality, facilitate movement, and enhance traffic safety. These improvements are expected to contribute to the economic development and logistical services in the region.
