Arrest of 11 suspects inside a warehouse containing untested human medicines in Baghdad

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 11 suspects inside a warehouse containing untested human medicines in Baghdad. The Ministry said in a statement: "By exercising its supervisory role and following up on the owners of drug stores and warehouses, and after obtaining judicial approvals, a force from the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime in the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency in the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the holding force in conjunction with a committee from the Ministry of Health, was able to seize a warehouse of medicines not subject to examination by the Ministry of Health in the Karrada area of Baghdad, which were hidden in a secret warehouse." She added: "11 suspects were arrested inside the warehouse, which contained eleven million boxes of various types of medicines.
