Ras Lanuf police arrested three Libyans for stealing components of the pipelines for the oil pipelines of Al-Waha Company.
The security communication office at Ras Lanuf Security Directorate stated that they received a report about people who were burning oil pipelines to facilitate cutting and scrapping them in preparation for selling them as scrap.
The source added that police patrols in the directorate were assigned to move to the location of the incident, where the reported materials were found ready to be stolen, accompanied by three Libyans.
The Directorate confirmed that the necessary measures were taken regarding the arrested persons.
