Army Chief Discusses With U.S. Congressional Delegation Ways to Support Army

Beirut: Lebanon’s Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, on Tuesday received at his Yarzeh office, a high-level U.S. congressional delegation, including Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Lindsey Graham, Representative Joe Wilson, in addition to U.S. Envoy Ambassador Tom Barrack, and Deputy Special Presidential Envoy to the Middle East Morgan Ortagus, in the presence of U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson, and the accompanying delegation.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during the meeting, discussions covered the general situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ways to support the army in light of current challenges.
