Ras jedir: Anti-Security Threat Agency thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics through the Ras Jedir border crossing.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Agency stated that it received information about a suspicious vehicle parked for an extended period with its keys inside. The vehicle was referred to the relevant authorities and thoroughly searched with a warrant from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The search resulted in the seizure of 2,220 tablets of the narcotic drug Lyrica, which were carefully concealed within the vehicle.
