Joint security forces launched an operation to search Al-Muqdadiyah orchards in Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “Joint forces from the army and the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out a surprise operation from two axes to deserted orchards north of Al-Muqdadiya district.”
He added that the operation aims to prevent the establishment of any ISIS hideouts in the orchards, combing the agricultural roads, and reinforcing the stationed security points. /End
