The leader of the National Coalition, Dr. Iyad Allawi, received in his office in Baghdad, the National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji. A statement by Allawi's office stated that during the meeting, developments in the region were discussed, in addition to the repeated attacks on some areas in Iraq. Allawi stressed that the repetition of these attacks from time to time is condemned and denounced, and represents a blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty and is not consistent with the foundations of relations among countries based on mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs. The meeting also discussed developments in the political situation in the country, and the need to work to provide the best services to the Iraqi people was emphasized.
