Algeria, Algeria and South Africa reiterated their strong rejection of all foreign interference in Libya’s internal affairs, and demanded that the international community support the efforts led by the Libyans.
The Foreign Ministers of Algeria, Ramtane Lamamra, and Naledi Pandor of South Africa, issued a joint statement in Algeria in which they affirmed their countries’ support to ensure preparations for the upcoming general elections, reunification of national institutions, withdrawal of mercenaries, and achieving national reconciliation.
