Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the formation of a specialized committee headed by the advisor to the Ministry of Environment, and the membership of the advisor to the Ministry of Oil and representatives of the Ministry of Electricity, the technical Agent of the Baghdad Municipality, and the Director General of the Department of Environmental Protection and Improvement in the Central Region, to study the state of pollution and the recurrence of the emission of the sulfur smell spread in Baghdad and neighboring governorates and to state its causes and address it.
