Tripoli– The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, “Fawzi Al-Nuiri,” discussed today, Wednesday, with the President of the State Council, “Khaled Al-Mishri,” ways to end the transitional stages in the country.

The two sides discussed – during the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the House of Representatives branch in Tripoli – a number of files and issues that need consensus between the two houses, the most important of which are: the constitutional rule, election laws, and sovereign positions, according to what was stated by the official spokesman for the House of Representatives, “Abdullah Blehaq.”

Al-Nuiri and Al-Mishri stressed the need to reach a consensus on these issues as soon as possible, and that this consensus should result in texts and decisions, and that these issues should not remain unresolved.

The meeting also discussed setting a date for holding elections, the draft constitution and ways to end the transitional stages
