Caretaker Minister of Culture, Judge Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada, congratulated the Lebanese on the occasion of Easter among the Western sects and considered in a statement that, “Passover is a pathway from slavery to freedom, and from death to life. It is the triumph of love over hatred, and the victory of the spirit that gives life over the letter that kills.” He added: “On this blessed holiday, we learn that all falsehood will vanish, and that only justice will be established in the land, when people remove fear from their hearts, even death, and increase their certainty that Christ is alive and He will return so that the truth will prevail and the thrones of the usurpers and oppressors be shaken.” Al-Murtada wished the Lebnese a glorious Easter and hoped that they would emerge from all crises, preserve their unity and joy in their diversity, and have increased awareness of the seriousness of what is being plotted against the country. “May God protect us from the evils of our enemies and the evils within ourselves, and inspire us all to cooperate and integrate in order to salvage Lebanon,” he concluded.
