Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, reviewed with representatives of the Libyan Political Parties Network on Monday the most important steps taken by the Council to contain security threats and prevent the capital, Tripoli, from slipping into armed confrontation.
According to Libyan News Agency, the attendees discussed the political and field repercussions of recent tensions, emphasizing the importance of prevailing the voice of wisdom and promoting a culture of national dialogue. During the meeting, Al-Mnifi stressed that protecting civilians and preserving civil peace is an uncompromising priority.
The party representatives, according to the media office, appreciated the efforts made by the President of the Presidential Council. They expressed their full support for the efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire and rebuilding trust between all Libyan parties, thus contributing to advancing a comprehensive political settlement that leads to lasting stability.
