Al-Mnifi Engages with Military Chiefs to Strengthen Security in Tripoli

Tripoli: The Chairman of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, met today in Tripoli with the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, and the Chief of Operations, Major General Hussein Abdullah.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Presidential Media Office reported that the meeting focused on evaluating the results achieved by the committee tasked by the Presidential Council with consolidating the ceasefire and enhancing security measures in the capital. The discussions were aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of the committee’s recommendations.

The Media Office further elaborated that Al-Mnifi emphasized during the meeting the crucial role of the committee in maintaining security and stabilizing the situation in Tripoli. This meeting underscores the ongoing efforts to restore peace and order in the region.
