Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, engaged in a meeting today with the Ambassador of Congo-Brazzaville to Libya, Guy Corneille Samba. The discussions were part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
According to Libyan News Agency, the media office of the council reported that Ambassador Samba delivered a verbal message from the Congolese President, Denis Sassou Nguesso, who is also the Chairman of the African Union High-Level Committee on Libya. This communication signifies continued engagement between the two nations on matters concerning Libya’s national reconciliation.
It is noteworthy that Al-Mnifi had previously met with the Congolese President last month during the African Heads of State Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their discussions focused on national reconciliation in Libya, evaluating the steps taken towards it, and assessing efforts to enhance national dialogue and support the stability of the country.
