Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Mnifi, accredited the credentials of a number of ambassadors to Libya today in Tripoli.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Mnifi welcomed the new Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Libya, Mohammed Rahal, and expressed his wishes for Rahal’s success in fulfilling his diplomatic responsibilities. In addition, Al-Mnifi accredited Lenka Mihalkova as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovakia to Libya.
The ceremony also included the accreditation of Ralph Tarraf as the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and Cecilia Wormstein as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden. These appointments mark a strengthening of diplomatic ties between Libya and the respective countries.
Furthermore, the President accredited Sadiq Sylla as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone to Libya, Senad Machovic as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dan Munyuza as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda, and Omar Nitezimbere as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Burundi to Libya.
