Tobruk, President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi voiced his commitment to unifying security agencies to confront terrorism and organized crime, and establish civil peace, which he deemed important to improve the living conditions of the public.
At a meeting with the Interior Minister in Tobruk on Tuesday, Al Mnefi underlined importance of supporting security directorates across the country, and indeed the polling stations in anticipation of the elections later in the year. He urged all to give concessions to create the proper atmosphere to render them successful and to put the interests of homeland first.
The Interior Minister on his part praised the role of the Presidency Council in support of the Government of National Unity effort to upgrade state institutions, conduct national reconciliation and establish peace and security across the country.
