Tripoli-President of the Presidential Council Mohammed Al Mnefi praised the efforts being taken by the Ministry of Local Government to provide the best services to citizens in many areas, to get out of the crippling centralization, in the functioning of its work, and overcome all the difficulties it faces, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
This came during his meeting Al Mnefi had on Tuesday with Minister of Local Government Badreddine Toumi, who reviewed the problems and difficulties that hinder the work of the Ministry, and efforts to overcome them so that they can provide the best services to citizens. During the meeting, which was held at the Council’s Tripoli office, the Minister stressed that the Ministry continues to transfer the terms of reference to the municipalities, so that they can perform the tasks assigned to them, and can be followed up by the relevant departments of the Ministry.
