Al-Mishri and the Italian ambassador discuss developments in the electoral process.

Tripoli, Head of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, discussed with Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Puccini Grimaldi the latest developments in the electoral process.

This came during a meeting held today, Tuesday, at the council’s headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the council’s rapporteur, “Said Kulla.”

During the meeting, Al-Mishri stressed the need to issue two sound consensual laws on which elections will be held. To ensure a fair electoral process, and to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people in building their desired state on sound constitutional foundations.

For his part, the ambassador stressed the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries, strengthening joint cooperation, and supporting the steps taken for the success of the political track.
