Tripoli: The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, has issued a cautionary message to the Libyan populace, highlighting that their nation is currently positioned between two conflicting paths.

According to Libyan News Agency, this statement was shared in a tweet by Al-Menfi on his X platform account and further disseminated by his media office. Al-Menfi's message began with a reflective note: "With faith and certainty, it is said: 'He who seeks the truth and misses it is not equal to he who seeks falsehood and attains it.'"

Al-Menfi elaborated on the choices facing Libya, stating, "We assure our people that their nation stands today between two projects: a state or a deal; elections or an extension of the current term; sovereignty over our resources or foreign tutelage; preserving investments and frozen funds or losing them; disclosure and transparency or deceiving the people with superficial solutions; stopping the unprecedented plunder or framing it indefinitely and developing it; plugging the black hole or expanding it to swallow the future of generations and enslave them; national and international law or the law of the jungle and replicating an immoral system; the established Libyan values ??and principles or normalization and resettlement in exchange for survival."

Concluding his message, Al-Menfi expressed a commitment to change, stating, "We put our trust in God and then in the will of our people. Our choice is history, and our determination is change."
