Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, received, Wednesday, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Faisal Al-Ghais, in the presence of Minister of Oil and Gas of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Aoun.
According to the media office of the Presidential Council, Al-Menfi indicated in the meeting the importance of the hoped-for role of the organization in maintaining coordination between the oil-producing countries.
For his part, Al-Ghais hailed Libya’s role and keen interest in the unity of OPEC and strengthening its efforts to serve common interests of all, considering that Libya is one of the main partners within the organization.
