Tripoli: President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, met Monday evening with the Mauritanian Ambassador to Libya, Mohamed Babana, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic tenure in the country.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Menfi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Ambassador Babana throughout his tenure. He highlighted that the ambassador’s contributions significantly impacted the strengthening of joint cooperation and the development of bilateral relations between Libya and Mauritania.
During the meeting, Al-Menfi extended his greetings and wishes for success to Ambassador Babana. He also conveyed his regards to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, appreciating Mauritania’s supportive stances towards Libya’s stability.
