Tripoli: President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, engaged in discussions with Khaled Al-Dosari, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, focusing on the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Libya and Qatar. The conversation also covered recent developments in Libya’s political landscape, the challenges confronting the political process, and potential consensual solutions to navigate the transitional phases, aiming for enhanced security and stability.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Presidential Council’s media office highlighted that the meeting underscored the importance of supporting the United Nations mission’s efforts to achieve a political settlement that aligns with the aspirations of the Libyan populace.
The office further conveyed that Ambassador Al-Dosari reiterated Qatar’s ongoing support for Libya through diplomatic mediation, aimed at establishing a stable state poised for future progress.
