Tripoli: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met today at the Council’s headquarters with Jeremy Brent, the Charg© d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Libya. The discussions centered around Al-Menfi’s recent visit to New York and his engagements regarding the ongoing political developments in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting provided an opportunity for Al-Menfi to elaborate on the vision he articulated during his speech at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. In his address, Al-Menfi detailed the current situation in Libya and emphasized the importance of uniting all factions to achieve stability and conduct elections.
