Johannesburg: The Head of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity, Lieutenant General Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, in Tripoli today. The discussion focused on military developments and efforts to unify the military institution and other state institutions, aimed at enhancing security and stability in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting also addressed issues of military retirement and increasing salaries for Libyan Army personnel. This includes officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, civilian employees, and the families of martyrs who have reached retirement age. These measures are in recognition of the army members' efforts in defending the homeland and ensuring the security and stability of its citizens.
