Al Mangoush Discusses With Her Italian Counterpart Libyan-Italian Relations And Issues Of Common Interest.

Benghazi, Minister of Foreign and International Cooperation Najla Al Mangoush discussed, at the Ministry’s branch headquarters here on Monday, with her Italian Counterpart Luigi Di Maio relations between the two friendly countries, and prospects of joint cooperation in all areas, particularly granting entry visas to Libyan nationals from the Italian Consulate in Benghazi.
The Italian side has promised to start granting visas from the Benghazi Consulate in the coming days, the Foreign Ministry said on its SMS page, indicating that the meeting has dealt with issues of common interest.
The Al Mangoush-Di Maio meeting was attended by the Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Buccino and the Italian General Consul in Benghazi Carlo Batore.
Soon after arriving in Benghazi, Al Mangoush started an inspection visit to the Ministry’s branch headquarters, to acquaint herself with the difficulties it is facing, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The Minister also had a meeting at Binina Airport, prior to leaving the city with member of the 5+5 Military Commission Major General Khairi Al Tamimi, to discuss the outcome of the Commission work, including stabilizing the ceasefire and opening of the coastal highway.
